| Author | Chloe Valentine | Nov 4th, 2019 |

Halloween is now officially over and that means we only have a few good weeks of fall left before the long Canadian winter begins. Here are a few fun things to do to make the most of your fall season.

Go for a Hike - Some great places to see the fall colours and enjoy the great local scenery are Mount Nemo and Bronte Creek Provincial Park.

Go to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair - Spend some time with friends or family enjoying the horse show, food vendors and featured entertainment. Running from November 1st to November 10th at Exhibition Place, Toronto.

Take in a Hayden Huskies game - The Fall sport season is quickly coming to an end, but there’s still time to support the Husky teams in the winter season, either as a spectator or participant!

Tour Universities - Whether you’re graduating and attempting to plan out your future, or just interested in touring some universities, November is a prime time to explore Ontario schools. While dates of open houses are listed below, most universities allow you to schedule tours during weekdays or on the weekends.

McMaster University - November 16 - 10 am - 4pm

Ryerson University - November 9th

Laurier, Waterloo Campus - November 6th

University of Guelph: November 3rd

University of Toronto, Mississauga campus: November 3rd

Cavalcade of lights - On November 30th, Toronto throws its 53rd celebration to mark the beginning of the holiday season - complete with fireworks, ice skating and music, the event is perfect to get you into the winter spirit. When planning to go, make sure not to miss the main event: The first lighting of the 60-foot Toronto Christmas tree.
